Prhiking & Jungle
in Khao Sok National Park
Khao Sok National Park offers numerous hiking trails that surround the headquarters and the lake. Only a few of these trails can be explored independently without a guide. Other hiking trails strictly require a guide. It’s strongly advised against tourists venturing off on longer trails without adhering to the national park’s regulations, as getting lost is a significant risk.
Khao Sok National Park offers more than just hiking trails. Easily accessible waterfalls can be found along the route to the park headquarters and some are located not far from Highway 401 south of the park. These are often single-tiered waterfalls with wide rock pools. The water flows beautifully over the rocks and is clear and clean. They are medium-sized waterfalls with year-round water flow, especially during the rainy season when the water is at its fullest.
